Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Alba approved the board’s recommendation of distributing a cash dividend of 21% for fiscal year 2016, according to a bourse filing issued on Tuesday.

As of 2 April, Alba will pay 21 fils per share to the entitled shareholders, with a total of BHD 29.6 million as cash dividends.

During FY16, profits decreased by 19.2% to total BHD 48.4 million from BHD 59.9 million in FY15.

At the stock level, Alba ended Tuesday’s session 1.04% lower at 380 fils.
